Part of the Chester Mass Set (A1121 Chester Chasuble available separately)Traditional lined Roman vestment complete with matching stole and maniple. (An embroidered band of fabric that hangs from the left arm. "In the Middle Ages the maniple received various symbolical interpretations. At a later period it was common to connect this vestment with the bonds which bound the hands of the Saviour. In the prayer offered by the priest when putting on the maniple are symbolized the cares and sorrows of this earthly life which should be borne with patience in view of the heavenly reward." - New Advent, Maniple) In classic Winchester brocade trimmed with Evesham brocade orphreys. Available in Red, Green, Violet and Cream.
