Okay, I bit on this series after the author contacted me for review. I must admit I was first open to reading it when she said Bishop Olmstead had heartily endorsed the series and she was having a hard time getting these self-published books into the hands of readers.
Almost immediately I fell for the vivid description of Bev Greeley reflecting upon the life she'd been blessed with and you understand immediately how she fought that very same life. Unique and refreshing this series of books hooks you and doesn't disappoint. A great gift book for young and old alike! But why believe me this is what Bishop Olmstead had to say about the books.
"This book was made for our times. Until Lily shows the rich humanity of those least appreciated in our day: the elderly in nursing homes, unborn children in the womb, and persons with disabilities. It does so with warmth and humor, but without sugar-coating or omitting the sacrifice that love always costs. This book is another sign that the Lord is building a culture of life today, even as the culture of death rages around us. Thank God for writers like Sherry Boas whose words could only arise from a heart that is familiar with the mystery of the cross." -- Most Reverend Thomas J. Olmsted, Bishop of Phoenix
